The second India Property (IPRO) Show 2007, the realty fair, will be inaugurated by Anil Wadhwa, Indian ambassador, at Al Falaj Hotel tomorrow.
Billed as one of the most important realty exhibition coming from India, this fair is being organised by Pan-Eastern Trade and Exhibitors Worldwide, which had earlier organised the IHEX — Indian Higher Education Expo in May.
More than 35 Indian builders will showcase their hottest properties from across India at IPRO for a period of two days and the organisers of this event are expecting more than 1,000 visitors.
Reputed builders from Kerala, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Goa, Jaipur, Nagpur, Bangalore and other cities of India will be gathering under one roof to meet NRIs who are interested in real estate investment.
A similar exhibition organised by Pan-Eastern in Dubai recently witnessed more than 1,700 visitors and the conversion percentage of firm bookings was over RO6 million.
Times of Oman/Al Shabiba are the media partners for this event while Express Advertising Services are the event partners and HDFC Home Loans is the finance partner.
According to conservative estimates, the real estate market in India is set to grow exponentially at the rate of over Rs200,000 crore in the next couple of years as India has steadily picked up the property boom phenomenon blowing across the world.
Speaking at a press conference held yesterday at Al Falaj, Sayyali Chawla, CEO, Pan-Eastern Trade and Exhibitors Worldwide, said that owing to its vast geographic expanse, the Indian subcontinent has an enormous scope for real estate and currently property sales are growing at an astounding speed and action in the country.
The press conference was also addressed by K. S. Manoj, vice-president, Pan-Eastern
Trade and Exhibitions Pvt Ltd. “The Middle East is fascinating, warm in hospitality, inviting Indian trade. Oman and Indian share a special bond, culture, education and commerce. Show after show is an encouraging experience.
“We owe our success to Oman and its people, Express Advertising and all those involved in making this show happen,” opined Sayyali.
According to K. S. Manoj, the biggest USP of Pan Eastern Trade and Exhibitors is simply because they take pride in offering personalised service to their clients who are the exhibitors.
“Apart from motivating and inspiring them to explore the global market, from arranging travel requirement to escorting them to making them feel at home, the responsibility rests on our shoulders. That is why we have so many clients participating at our every show abroad,” says Manoj.
The final day’s evening of the event will be marked with a musical encounter with ‘Lambada’, a name that spells entertainment in India. Lambada, a band with a difference is known to belt out Western and Bollywood tunes. The band is popular with NRIs and promises to entertain the audience with foot-tapping music.
Free passes will be available on the first day of the India property show and they will be given on a first-come-first-serve basis. Tickets will be sold at the venue on both the days of the property show.
Al Mamlaka For Organising Exhibition is the official organiser of the event.
